  • Make small lifestyle changes slowly so they stick. Meet friends for a walk rather than coffee or take your kids to a new activity like ice-skating, mountain biking or frisbee.
  • Work on your posture, lie ; over a Swiss Ball backwards. This helps decompress the spine, promoting better on-going posture as well as a more toned mid-section.
  • Working out for long durations can stress your body and cause you to lose muscle and gain fat. Aim for 20 to 40 minute sessions of boxing, circuit training, sprints or a walk/jog combo.
